Baseball Dice plays pretty much like a regular game of baseball, with the
exception that you use dice to "hit" the ball and we do not count the balls
and strikes (ie: 1 strike = a strikeout AND 1 ball = a walk).
The object of the game is to beat the game score that I, the Sysop, have
already posted. Once you have beaten the score, you may choose to quit the
game or you can play through the entire 9 innnings. NOTE: Ties lose!
As you will see on the game screen, rolling the dice covers most of the
baseball plays/hits that an at-bat team can generate. The player has 2 options
on the menu with which to control the game play; Sacrifice/Squeeze Bunt and
Steal-a-Base. If the option character is not displayed, between the brackets,
then it can not be played.
Double plays, sacrifice flies, etc. are handled internally by the program on a
random basis. Every effort has been made to stay as close to the rules of
baseball as possible.
